At Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) we are sure that the practices at companies are a very good tool for youngs who want to have the first professional contact with the world of the biomedical and biohealth research in a research center of international prestige linked to one of the most important hospitals of Catalonia and Spain.
To be employed at VHIR allows you to investigate in the laboratory real pathologies of people and to experiment with animals, and everything with the most advanced technology and the spirit of looking for solutions to the problems of health of the citizenship. An exciting world, one more step towards the entry in the labor world and a profitable experience for the professional future.
During the last years many of our research groups have received students who have the opportunity to take part in their projects and to contribute with work to advance in the research. VHIR has signed agreements of collaboration with 101 educational centers, which has allowed that 218 students have been practicing with us during 2010 and 2011.
It is a good way to complete the vocational training, a stay that qualifies for the future labor incorporation and means a great help in the obtaining of a formation adapted to the specific working places.
If you are interested to complete your training at VHIR and fulfill the requirements*, contact your center to initiate the necessary negotiations.
* Requirements: for the accomplishment of the practices at VHIR, you must be student of some of the Centers of Vocational training, University or School that have a signed Agreement of Educational Collaboration with VHIR. In cases where the agreement does not exist, your center will have to contact to estadesformatives@vhir.org to formalize one. In addition, the program of practices has to be related to your study plan. The acceptance of the candidacy will depend on the availability of the research groups.
