Once the process for receiving the projects is closed (12th April), the External Technical Secretary will begin the reviewing process of the documentary conditions, shortlisting a total of 40 projects (20 from each of the categories). With the projects shortlisted, a panel of innovation experts will act as the Technical Committee and will select 10 projects from each prize category as finalists (20 in total). Shortlisting and selection will be undertaken taking into account the criteria for Innovation and Impact.

The 20 finalists of the competition will have to produce a Viability Report based on the characteristics, format and content referred to in the training session scheduled for the 13th May 2015.

The viability report will be evaluated by the Technical Committee and by jury, taking into account the criteria of innovation, impact, viability/industrial property, present status, team, client and market.
