The Working Group on Thrombosis of the ESC wishes to support participation of scientists in basic and translational science in the field of thrombosis to the ESC annual congresses, to the EuroThrombosisSummit and Science meetings, and to the Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Biology meetings.

Conditions for applications are as follows

- Applicant is not a Medical Doctor

- Applicant has an accepted presentation (oral or poster) at the meeting for which support is requested (ESC annual congress, EuroThrombosis Summit or Science meeting, or Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Biology meeting)

- The topic of the presentation is related to thrombosis/atherothrombosis

- Applications should be accompanied with a copy of acceptance notification of the presentation and a copy of the abstract

Selection of awardees

- Applications that are incomplete will not be considered

- If the number of applicants exceeds 12, the selection committee will select recipients on the basis of topics covered in the presentation

- All selected awardees will be notified within 4 weeks of application

Funding

The award will be a fixed amount of €1,000. Twelve such awards will be available per year.
