Aim: To start new, sustainable and multilateral research cooperation between researchers from Europe, Latin-America and the Caribbean countries.

Topics - within others -:

- Topic 7: Cancer_ Improving the quality of care and quality of life of dying cancer patients

- Topic 8: Infectious diseases_ Research in prevention of infectious diseases and promotion of well-being

ii. ICT (in relation with health):

- Topic 9: Improving wellbeing and inclusiveness through e-health, m-health, and active and assisted living (AAL) solutions

Eligibility criteria: The Principal Investigator (PI) and all members of the research group must belong to the eligible institution or be affiliated to CIBER, CIBERNED or an IIS  

Excluded personnel as Principal Investigator (PI):

i. Those undergoing a postgraduate training in Health Specialization (MIR, FIR, QIR, BIR, PIR)

ii. Those undergoing research training (e.g. PhD students, or  “Río Hortega” contracts)

iii. Researchers contracted by a RETIC or a CONSOLIDER

iv. Those undergoing postdoctoral training (e.g. “Sara Borrell“ or “Juan de la Cierva” contracts)

Budget:

- Up to 100.000 € per partner

- Up to 150.000 € per coordinator

Eligible costs: Personnel (students and fellowships are excluded), small equipment, travel and Allowance, Consumables, subcontracting and other services and overhads.

Duration: 3 years
