National Multiple Sclerosis Society Research Grants 2017 |
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society launches its 2017 Research Grants.
Object: To fund applications for support of studies with high relevance to multiple sclerosis and the Society’s research priorities. The Society supports fundamental as well as applied studies, non-clinical or clinical in nature, including projects in patient management, care and rehabilitation.
Eligibility criteria:
Budget: There is no amount limitation. For specific costs, please refere to page 16 of the guidelines
Eligible costs:
- Salaries for professional and non-professional personnel. Costs to the grantee institution of Social Security, retirement and group insurance plans may be requested in the application for persons whose salaries are to be paid from the grant.
- Patient costs
- Permanent equipment
- Consumable supplies
- Travel
- Other expenditures
Non-eligible costs:
- Secretarial, purchasing, accounting, financial record keeping, laundry and maintenance services.
- Tuition or other similar fees, or dues to organizations such as federations or societies
- Indirect costs (Indirect costs will not be provided for grants awarded to institutions outside of the United States)
Deadlines:
- VHIR's internal deadline for expression of interest: 19/07/2017
- Pre-submission official deadline (no budget): 26/07/2017
- VHIR's internal deadline for full proposal preparation: 28/07/2017 (15:00h.).
- Full proposal official deadline: 02/08/2017 (5:00 p.m. EST)
