Concern Foundtation's Conquer Cancer Now Award |
Since 1968, Concern Foundation has funded well over 650 pediatric and adult cancer researchers worldwide studying many forms of cancer, primarily in the areas of immunology, immunotherapy, and the genetics of cancer.
The Conquer Cancer Now Award is a $60,000 grant given to young and innovative cancer immunology researchers. Approximately 20 researchers receive a $60,000 Conquer Cancer Now Award per year for the two-year grant cycle.
a. Elegibility: Grants will only be awarded to independent investigators who are at the start of their career (i.e junior faculty) and are at the level of assistant professor (or equivalent with explanation).
b. Budget and duration: The total grant amount for a Conquer Cancer Now Award is $60,000 for a period of one year, subject to continued funding of an additional $60,000 for the second year. Consideration for a second year of funding is based on sufficient progress (as determined by the required progress report) and available funds. Concern will not fund overhead costs, indirect costs, or similar fees or charges levied by an institution.
