Alzheimer's Association Research Grant (AARG) 2017 |
The Alzheimer's Association launches its Research Grants (AARG) for 2017-18.
Aim: to provide newly independent investigators with funding that will allow them to develop preliminary or pilot data, to test procedures and to develop hypotheses.
Eligibility criteria:
- Investigators who are less than 10 years past their doctoral or post residency (MD or DO)
- Investigators that are new to Alzheimer’s and related dementia field of research even if past the 10 years
- Other junior faculty members will be accepted: Instructor, Research Associate Scientist, etc. In that case, a letter of employment must be provided (indicating they will have a full-time faculty position of an Assistant Professor and above by the award date)
Young scientists are encouraged to apply.
Budget: $150.000 (10% overheads included) in total ($60.000 per year)
Duration: 2-3 years
