A strategic and pioneering collaboration agreement has been established between the Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR) and the Institut Universitari d’Investigaciķ en Atenciķ Primāria (IDIAP) Jordi Gol to promote common research programs to translate the new generated knowledge into the clinics involving health, economic and social benefits.

The main objective of the collaborative research of excellence between VHIR and IDIAP Jordi Gol is to achieve valuable scientific results for the society otherwise, difficult to obtain in a restricted context. Thus, this strategy permits to develop common multidisciplinary programs integrating translational, clinical and/or epidemiologic research.
