UCTS

The Unit of High Technology (UAT) offers a set of high-tech services that support teaching activities and research activities in biomedical field.

The centralized character of UAT allows to offer researchers the most advanced tools in genomics, bioinformatics, proteomics, cytomics and microscopy fields at a reduced cost with constant updates and with advising of specialized personnel.

UAT informs you that our office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, the following self-service equipment can be used from 7:30 a.m. requesting access to the orderly:

-Cytomics I room: FACSCalibur cytometers.

-Metabolomics room: cryostat, UPLC, Xevo and Nano-4000QTrap.

-Microscopy room: Olympus fluorescence microscope and laser microdisector.

This procedure must be followed:

-users that intend to use frequently a machine must contact the technician in charge to provide their name and ID number to be included in a list of authorized persons.

- Occasional users must provide the orderly with their name and ID when asking for access.

Access to UAT will not be allowed before 7:30 a.m., excluding particular and justified occasions. In such cases users must contact previously the UCTS technician in charge.

We would also like to remind you that the same equipment can be used until 8 p.m.
