Serving Research

In order to provide the complex environments requiring current biomedicine, Vall d'Hebron Research Institute has a number of important services to support research. They are the scientific and technical Support Unit (UCTS), the Statistics and Bioinformatics Unit (UEB), the Support Unit for Biomedical Research Methodology (USMIB), the Clinical Research Ethics Committee (CEIC), the Animal Facility and Laboratories Coordination.

The last two recent created services are the biobank and the Central Unit of Clinical Research and Clinical Trials (UCICAC). Thus, in addition, to enable researchers to technology and most current services, increasing profitability and improving self-sufficiency.
